"Coloured" is my quicker work on a A5 sheet. It' s part of a painting exchange idea from a Moldovan artist. He sends his painting to people in exchange with one from the artist receiving it. The idea fascinated me. I signed up almost immediately. I had already made a small mock up of this painting on an old visiting card that I hesitate to throw away. So, the colour scheme was already decided. That made it easy.
I used my favourite style of blending Yellow into orange. The blue stood out in that background adding further grace. A little green sprinkled around would make it perfect, I thought.
The finishing is always the best part. It never seems to end. But at some point, you have to stop. I took 3 hours to complete this small piece of work.
