Flowers

Bought a new camera, so was all excited about trying out the features. Here are few pictures of flowers around my house in Mangalore.

    The lavander coloured flower is called chethi poo in malayalam.i have seen in various colours like red,pink,etc.this should be that one.

    Ur pics are very beautiful. The lavender coloured flower is called idli poo in tamil, chethi poo or kepi poo in malayalam.If possible I will help u find the botanical names of these flowers.

  17. Thanks for stopping by my site. I love the Ratnagandhi. I do not think the mystery flower is Lavender. Lavender usually grows from a wood / twig type root and the flowers are not as large as those.

    Can't wait to see what this year will bring to your garden!

  19. The lavender one is actually called as Pentas or Star Cluster.
    It is a very easy plant to grow in the garden.
