Atlantic City

On the 30th of June, Sundar and I took two flights (Colorado Springs to Atlanta, Atlanta to Newark) to reach Newark. Our friend G1 picked us up from the airport and we drove to Annandale, New Jersey, to his house. He works at another sector of our company that has an office there. That night, we obviously had a lot to catch up with. G1 and I, both hail from Mangalore, so we had lot of common things to discuss in our native language while, Sundar went to bed early.

Next day (July 1st), I woke up late. G1 had already left for office. At around 4 PM, after he returned, we drove to Atlantic city. The traffic was bad and it delayed our journey. I was delighted to be by the shores again, this time it was next to the Atlantic ocean.

After some quality time spent at the beach, we tried our hand with gambling at the casino called Sands. I lost $5 in a slot machine. The atmosphere was dull and nothing like the vibrant Las Vegas that I had visited last year.

When we got back to the apartment, G1 and I spoke a lot again, late until 2 AM. We obviously had so many stories to share and topics to discuss.
